Flower Delivery Terms
By using our flower delivery service, you agree to let our drivers use their best professional judgment to determine whether or not the flowers can be safely left at the delivery address if no one is present to receive them. We hold no responsibility for the flowers from this point on.
By using our flower delivery service, you agree to a return fee equal to the delivery fee if no one is home to accept the delivery, the address is incorrect, or the order cannot be left safely in our best judgment.
If the flowers have been returned to our store, you will be contacted and given the option to have the flowers redelivered or pick them up from our store in Southbank. If Kate Hill Flowers is responsible for the redelivery, this redelivery fee will not apply.
In the rare event that there is an issue with delivering your order and we have been unable to reach you, we reserve the right to call the recipient unless you have instructed otherwise. Your details will be kept confidential at all times.
If a security person or concierge is obligated to receive the flowers on the recipient’s behalf, we cannot accept responsibility for the flowers from this point on.
Orders containing alcohol cannot be left unattended. Orders cannot be left with anyone under 18 years of age. If no one is present at the delivery address to sign for the order, the order will be returned to the studio and a redelivery fee will apply.
Flower deliveries will be completed before 5:00 PM to a business address and before 6:00 PM to a private address. Please write a note if you have a special request. While we can make no guarantees, we will do our best to fulfil it.
Saturday Flower Deliveries
Same day Saturday flower delivery orders must be received by 9:00am for delivery by 5:00 PM.
By using our service on a Saturday, you accept that the flowers can be left without a signature at the recipient’s address or with the nearest neighbour if the property is inaccessible or is an unsafe location to leave the flowers. We will leave a calling card if the flowers are left with a neighbour.
Public Holidays
Please note that we do not deliver on public holidays.
Refund Terms
Kate Hill Flowers goes to great lengths to source the very freshest flowers in Melbourne for our customers. However, we are dealing with an organic product, and on very rare occasions, this product may not meet expectations.
You can generally expect your flowers to last from 5-7 days, provided they are cared for correctly.
Five main steps will help your flowers last as long as possible:
- Stems should be cut at an angle (in or under running water if possible) as soon as you receive the flowers.
- Ensure the vase used is clean and filled with fresh water.
- Always keep an eye on the water levels and change the water completely every two days.
- Keep the flowers out of direct sunlight.
- Keep the flowers away from drafts and air-conditioning.
If you feel the flowers have not lasted for at least five days, let us know within this time by calling +61 3 9510 8800. Once we are confident that they have been cared for as recommended above, we will be happy to replace the flowers.
Please note that we may first request a photo of the flowers and can only replace them if we can pick up the old flowers at the same time as we deliver the replacements.

Cancellations
We do not offer refunds on orders canceled within 24 hours of the delivery bracket/date. Refunds outside of this timeframe can only be made to the credit card used for the original purchase.
