City Road, Sturt Street, Kavanagh Street, Queensbridge, Southgate and the towers along the river are all within a few minutes of the bench they are made on. Southbank is the shortest journey any of our flowers take, and it shows in how they arrive.

Most of Southbank is vertical, so the practical detail is the building rather than the street. Towers with a concierge are simple. Where there is no desk, a mobile number for the recipient is what gets the flowers upstairs instead of left in a lobby. We also deliver to the offices, hotels and venues through the arts precinct, which tend to want a name at reception and nothing more.

The flowers are checked as they come off the van at City Road, and what does not measure up is not accepted. The rest is cut and conditioned in freshly cleaned buckets, and almost all of it is designed within twenty four hours. Your arrangement is checked again while a florist designs it and a final time before it leaves the studio. It follows the design you chose.

Delivered With Care

Even on the shortest journey we make, your flowers stand in water. The signature bag holds a vessel in its base, held the way a coffee tray holds a cup, so nothing spills and no stem dries out. It can be set down and left exactly as it arrives, which is why it earns its place on a hospital ward or a reception desk. Top the water up each day. If anything is not right, we replace it or refund it.

They are chosen at the market before dawn and brought straight to this studio at 440 City Road, where our florists arrange them. The range changes with the season, so roses, hydrangeas, peonies, lilies, tulips and natives all appear across the year, alongside plants, wine and gifts.
