Wedding Flowers Highlight | Daniela & Mark

Earlier this year we designed wedding flowers for one of my favourite weddings in 2018.

Daniela & Mark’s high end garden party was celebrated in the picturesque Gardens House which is hidden away in the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Such a beautiful and historical venue and full of character and class, not to mention the stunning surrounds of lush foliages and beautiful flowers.

I absolutely love March weddings as the weather is consistently warm and the locally grown Summer flowers are out in abundance. Such a beautiful time of year for an Melbourne any event and you can always be sure the wedding flowers will be on song.

Working on Daniela’s vision for her wedding flowers was a pure pleasure - an elegant, high end garden party inspired by the colour palette of blue and gold.

Daniela’s bridal bouquet featured locally grown David Austin Garden Roses, textural foliages including Jasmine & Peppercorn, Freesias and Lisianthus. The bridal flowers and colour palette carried through to the Ceremony wedding flowers and Venue flowers, where the intimate, long guest table was styled with custom ornate glass urns displaying natural and decadent flowers in ivory, white, silver and green tones. Keeping the wedding flowers elegant, seasonal and on-mass, as with Daniela & Mark’s wedding flowers, will always result in greater impact on throughout the ceremony and venue spaces.

Thank you Daniela for your kind words:

Hi Kate,

Just a quick note to say thank you for your amazing work on the flowers for our wedding day.  I've just received the photos and I was absolutely delighted. The table was dressed beautifully and I was spellbound by my bouquet.  My mother in law and Mum were also very pleased with their corsages and of course the lapel flowers were beautiful. I particularly love the photo of my son Blake and I smelling Ellie's bouquet during the ceremony.  Your flowers impressed even my 3 year old.

I couldn't part with my bouquet.  It lasted for a whole week after the wedding, at which point I hung it in a dry area so that I could keep it forever.  I also have a Mark's lapel flower on my desk, dry but still beautiful...a daily reminder of our wonderful day and my darling husband.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us create the most beautiful wedding and being a part of our most cherished memory.

All my love, Daniela

We will always cherish Daniela and Mark’s wedding. Designing wedding flowers for such a lovely couple was simply an honour.
