Reserve Your Wedding Flowers Consultation
We accept a limited number of weddings each season to ensure every couple receives the attention, creativity and care that define the Kate Hill Flowers wedding experience.
Your consultation is the first step in the design journey. It allows us to understand your celebration, your venue and the atmosphere you would like to create with flowers.
Please share a few details about your wedding below, and we will be in touch shortly to confirm our availability.
Consultation Questions
What happens during the wedding flower consultation?
Our consultation is a relaxed conversation where Kate learns about your wedding, your venue and the atmosphere you would like to create with flowers.
We explore your colour palette, the style of your celebration and the moments where flowers will have the greatest impact, from bridal bouquets and ceremony styling to reception arrangements.
The goal of the consultation is to understand your vision and ensure we can guide the floral design in a way that feels both refined and personal.
Do I need to have everything planned before we speak?
Not at all.
Some couples arrive with inspiration images or Pinterest boards, while others simply have a feeling for the atmosphere they would like to create.
Kate will guide the conversation and translate your ideas into a cohesive floral direction.
How long is the consultation?
The initial consultation typically takes around 15–30 minutes and is usually held via Zoom.
If your wedding moves forward with us, we may later meet in our Southbank studio as the design process develops.
When will we receive our proposal?
Following the consultation we prepare a personalised proposal outlining the floral direction and investment required to achieve your vision.
Rather than a simple quote, this proposal reflects Kate’s design approach and experience creating weddings across Melbourne fro over 25 years.
Proposals are typically delivered within 48 hours.
Can we refine the design after booking?
Absolutely.
Wedding plans naturally evolve, and once your date is secured we continue refining the design together. Flower varieties, colours and quantities are confirmed closer to the wedding to ensure everything feels beautifully considered.
