What happens in a wedding flower consultation?

We start with you, your venue, season, palette and the moments that matter most. We’ll talk through what’s essential (bridal flowers, ceremony, reception), where flowers create the biggest impact, and how to work gracefully within your budget. You’ll leave with clear next steps and comfort that we understand your vision.

Do I need a firm vision, or can you guide me?

Either is perfectly fine. Come with a Pinterest board, a few reference photos, or simply your story. Kate will translate mood and feeling into a refined floral direction without overwhelming you.

Is the consultation on Zoom or in-studio?

Our initial consultation is via Zoom but may later be 'in-studio' at our Southbank store if need be.

How long should I allow, and who should attend?

Please allow for 30 minutes. Couples often attend together; if a planner or trusted friend is supporting you, they’re welcome.

What should I bring?

An outline of any must-have flowers or colours, inspiration images, and approximate priorities (bridal party, ceremony, reception) are really helpful.

Do you offer packages as well as custom design?

Yes. We have beautifully curated “ready-to-go” options for efficiency. We’ll help you choose the right pathway during your consult.

Can you give me a sense of budget before we book?

Absolutely. We’ll discuss priorities and give you a realistic starting point. We’re known for guiding couples to allocate spend where it has the most impact, and for suggesting elegant swaps when needed.

When do we receive a detailed proposal?

We aim to have a proposal back to you within 48 hours of the consult.

What if my numbers or layout change?

It’s common. We’ll confirm final quantities and placement closer to your wedding and adjust the proposal accordingly.

Do you work with planners and venues?

All the time, as well as offering planning services in-house on occasion. We collaborate seamlessly with planners, stylists and venues to ensure your flowers integrate beautifully with lighting, layout and service flow.

Do you service areas outside Melbourne?

Yes. We have handled events in South Australia, Tasmania, and all eastern states.
