Inspired by Green

Anyone that knows me, knows that I love working with green flowers and foliages. I especially love a green and white wedding!

In the last few years the colour green has certainly become more and more popular in event and wedding styling. We are seeing a lot more green or green friendly events which is really refreshing to see.

Green can be introduced into your event through the flowers and foliage acting as focal  pieces or just in elements such as place cards and invites.

There are so many beautiful shades and textures of green ranging from soft mint greens to vibrant cyan greens which are on trend with this seasons mixed pastels look. The colour green can compliment a chic or a rustic style events beautifully.

There are an abundance of green flowers and foliages to choose from. Some flower varieties include green Carnations, Trick, Molucca Balm, Cymbidium Orchids, Slipper Orchids, Roses, Lisianthus, Webber Tulips, Hydrangeas, Anthurium Lily, Hellebores, Succulents, Spider Chrysanthemums, Lotus Pods, Leucadendrons, Star Eucalyptus, Euphorbia, Erica, Acacia, Celosia, Green Goddess, Moss and Herbs.

Green symbolises self-respect and well being. Green is the colour of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony. In many countries green is recognised as a very lucky colour. I hope this post inspires you to think of green for your next event.
