Getting Flowers Delivered in Sunshine

Hampshire Road is the main shopping street, running past Sunshine Plaza toward the station, and plenty of our Sunshine deliveries go to the shops, clinics and offices along it. Around the station there are a lot of newer apartments and townhouses, so the unit number and the name on the intercom are worth including.

Away from the centre, Sunshine is mostly older brick houses and units on regular blocks, with Ballarat Road along the northern side and Albion beyond it. Sunshine Hospital, on Furlong Road in St Albans, is close by and we deliver to patients there. For a ward delivery, we need the patient's name, ward and bed number.

Quality starts at the Melbourne market, where we have bought since 2007. The growers know we only buy what is right, so we see their better stock and can hand back anything that is not.

No Stem Misses the Check

The market boxes are unpacked on the Southbank bench and every stem is looked over. Soft or bruised ones are thrown out, the good ones are trimmed and stood in fresh water, and your florist gives each a second glance while designing.

Water Travels With Every Order

Units and houses here often have a step or porch where flowers wait if no one is in. Our signature bag travels with water in its base, so the stems keep drinking. Top up the water daily. Should anything fall short, contact us within 10 days and we will put it right with a replacement or refund.

Sunshine sends birthday flowers, anniversary roses and Mother's Day bouquets, along with a lot of new baby and get well flowers for Sunshine Hospital. Thank you arrangements and sympathy flowers are part of every month. The designs lean on roses, lilies, gerberas and carnations, topped up with whatever was strongest on the market floor.

Is same day flower delivery available in Sunshine?

Yes, for orders placed before 1pm on any delivery day, Monday to Saturday. Orders after 1pm wait for the next delivery day.

What does delivery to Sunshine cost?

Enter Sunshine in the delivery suburb box on any product page. The cost appears right there, before you have chosen a thing.

Can you deliver to a patient at Sunshine Hospital?

Yes. Include the patient's full name, the ward and the bed number, and check they have not been discharged before ordering. We hand the flowers in at the ward or the front desk, whichever the hospital allows.

What happens if nobody is home in Sunshine?

If there is somewhere shaded by the door, the flowers wait there in their water. If not, we call you first. Should we not reach you, they go back to our Southbank store, and we contact you again about redelivery or collection.

What time will my Sunshine order be delivered?

Sunshine deliveries arrive between 9am and 5pm. That is a working window, not a promised time, so add a note at checkout if the timing matters and we will try to work with it.
