Delivering Flowers Across Reservoir

Reservoir is one of the larger suburbs we deliver to, running north from the Preston side. The Broadway shops by the station are the centre of it. Around them it is mostly older brick houses and units on quarter acre blocks, with newer townhouses filling the gaps.

Edwardes Lake Park, off Edwardes Street, is the easiest reference point in Reservoir, and plenty of our orders go to the streets around it. Spring Street, Gilbert Road and Plenty Road give the suburb its shape. Because it is spread out, an accurate address and a phone number help a lot.

How Reservoir Flowers Are Kept Fresh

Early Access to the Best Lines

We have been buying at the Melbourne market since 2007, and regulars get looked after there. Growers hold their better lines for buyers they trust and take a box back without fuss if it is not right. Your order starts with that stock.

A Careful Sort in Southbank

Once the stems reach Southbank, each one is looked over before it is used. The tired ones are pulled out, the rest are trimmed and given clean water, and the florist checks again as the design comes together.

Stems Kept Drinking on the Road

Plenty of homes here have a porch or carport, and flowers sometimes wait there until someone gets back. The water vessel in the base of our signature bag means they keep drinking. Refresh the water every day. If anything is not right, we replace it or refund it.

What Reservoir Sends Flowers For

Reservoir sends a lot of birthday flowers, Mother's Day bouquets and anniversary roses, along with new baby arrangements and get well flowers. Sympathy flowers come through regularly, and thank you arrangements for neighbours are common. Roses, lilies, gerberas and tulips are the usual base, matched to what the flowers are for.

Reservoir Flower Delivery Questions

Is same day delivery available in Reservoir?

Yes. Order before 1pm, Monday to Saturday, and we deliver that day. Orders after 1pm go on the next delivery day.

How is the Reservoir delivery fee worked out?

Pricing goes by suburb. Enter Reservoir in the delivery suburb box near the top of any product page and you will see it before choosing anything.

Do you deliver to the north end of Reservoir too?

Yes. All of Reservoir is covered on the same run, from the Preston side to the northern streets.

What if my Reservoir recipient is out?

A sheltered porch or carport works well, and the flowers can wait there in their water. If there is nowhere safe, we contact you first to agree what to do. If we cannot reach you, they come back to our Southbank store and we follow up about redelivery or collection.

What time will my Reservoir order arrive?

Within our 9am to 5pm delivery window. It is a window rather than a set time, so if the flowers need to arrive by a particular hour, add that to the checkout notes and we will try to work to it.
