Delivering Flowers in Parkdale

Beach Road runs along the foreshore, and we are often at the homes facing the bay or just behind it. Back from the water, the streets around the station are mostly family homes and units from the fifties onward, with front gardens and driveways that make deliveries easy.

The shops near Parkdale station take a good number of business deliveries, and Warrigal Road carries traffic north toward Mentone and Cheltenham. The foreshore reserve and the beach run the length of the suburb. Mentone is just to the north and on the same run down the bay.

Parkdale Flowers, Fresh From the Bench

On the Market Floor Since 2007

We have dealt with the growers at the Melbourne market since 2007, and they know we can tell good flowers from tired ones at a glance. So the better stock comes to us first.

Graded on the Southbank Bench

Stems are graded on the Southbank bench before they go anywhere near a design. Weak stems come out, the rest are trimmed and put into clean water, and your florist checks every stem again.

Water Sitting in the Base

By the bay, flowers may wait on a sheltered step out of the wind. Our signature bag has water sitting in its base, so they keep drinking. Change the water each day. If something is not right, we replace it or refund it.

Parkdale Occasions We Send Flowers For

Parkdale sends birthday and anniversary flowers along Beach Road and through the streets behind it, plus Mother's Day bouquets and new baby arrangements. Get well, thank you and sympathy flowers make up the rest. Roses, tulips, lilies and natives are the usual mix, depending on what was strongest that morning.
