Getting Flowers Around Carlton North

Most Carlton North addresses we see are single fronted Victorian terraces, often with a narrow gate and a couple of steps up to the door. If the house number is hard to read from the street, or the gate sticks, say so in the delivery notes. It saves knocking on the wrong door.

The Rathdowne Street village, with its cafes and food stores, is where most of the street life is. Canning Street carries the bikes north and south, Lygon Street runs along the western side toward Princes Hill and Nicholson Street marks the east. Curtain Square sits in the middle, all plane trees and a playground.

How Carlton North Flowers Stay Fresh Longer

Picked From Growers Who Know Us

Our buyers have been at the Melbourne market since 2007, and the growers there know we will send a box back if it is not right. Because of that, they show us their better lines first, and those are the stems your arrangement starts with.

Every Stem Inspected Twice

In the studio, each box is opened on the bench and gone through stem by stem. Anything bruised or soft is pulled. The rest are stripped, cut on an angle and put into clean water, and whoever designs your flowers checks them all again before wrapping.

Carried in Their Own Water

Terraces here tend to have a step or a porch rather than a concierge, so flowers sometimes wait a little. Our signature bag has a water vessel in its base for exactly that. Change the water each day once they are inside. If they are not right, tell us within 10 days and we will replace them or refund you.

What Carlton North Celebrates With Flowers

Carlton North orders lean toward birthdays and new babies, and the end of term brings thank you flowers for teachers at the local primary schools. Anniversaries and sympathy arrangements come through steadily all year. Tell our florists who the flowers are for and why, and they will design around roses, tulips, ranunculus, hydrangeas or whatever was best at market that morning.

Carlton North and Its Neighbours

Carlton North Orders, Explained

Can Carlton North get same day flowers?

Yes. Order before 1pm on a delivery day and they go out the same day. We deliver Monday to Saturday, and after 1pm you can pick the next delivery day, or any date further ahead, at checkout.

How is delivery to Carlton North priced?

By suburb. Type Carlton North into the delivery suburb box at the top of any product page and the price shows before you choose your flowers.

Can flowers be sent to a teacher at a Carlton North school?

Yes. Address them to the school office with the teacher's full name and class, and we hand them in at the front desk. If they need to arrive before the end of the school day, say so in the checkout notes.

What if nobody is home at a Carlton North terrace?

Usually there is a shaded step or porch where the flowers can sit in their water. If there is nowhere safe, we call you first. Should we not reach you, they come back to our Southbank store and we ring again to arrange redelivery or collection.

What time will flowers arrive in Carlton North?

Same day deliveries go out between 9am and 5pm. That is the window we work to rather than a booked time, so if they need to be there by a certain hour, tell us in the checkout notes and we will do our best.
