Delivering Flowers in Strathmore

Strathmore is mostly family homes, interwar and post war houses on wide, quiet streets with established gardens and driveways. The front door is usually easy to find, which keeps things simple. The station and its small group of shops sit on the eastern side, close to Pascoe Vale Road.

Napier Street and Woodland Street carry most of the local traffic, and Moonee Ponds Creek and its trail run along the eastern side. Strathmore Heights, up toward the airport, is on the same run. With streets this regular, a house number and a phone number are usually all we need.

We have bought at the Melbourne market since 2007, and the growers know we will not take second best. They show us their better lines early, and a box that falls short goes straight back.

Sorted Carefully Before Design

In Southbank, every stem is sorted before design. Bruised or tired ones come out, the rest are cut and given clean water, and the florist making your order checks again before it is wrapped.

A Bag That Holds Its Own Water

Porches and sheltered steps are where flowers often wait if no one is home. Our signature bag holds its own water in the base, so the stems keep drinking. Refresh the water daily. If anything is not right, we replace it or refund it.

Occasions That Bring Strathmore Orders

Strathmore families send birthday and anniversary flowers, Mother's Day bouquets and new baby arrangements, plus end of year thank yous for teachers. Get well and sympathy flowers go out steadily too. Roses, lilies, tulips and hydrangeas are the usual mix, adjusted to what the occasion calls for.

Can Strathmore get same day flowers?

Yes, when you order before 1pm. Delivery runs Monday to Saturday, and orders after 1pm can go on the next delivery day.

What is the delivery charge to Strathmore?

Check it on any product page. Type Strathmore into the delivery suburb box and the charge shows before you pick your flowers.

Do you deliver to Strathmore Heights too?

Yes. Strathmore Heights is on the same run, with the same 1pm order time for same day delivery.

What happens if my Strathmore recipient is out?

A porch or sheltered step is usually a safe place for the flowers to wait in their water. If there is none, we contact you first. If you cannot be reached, the flowers return to our Southbank store and we call again to set up redelivery or collection.

When do Strathmore deliveries arrive?

Our aim is to deliver between 9am and 5pm, not at a fixed appointment time. If you need a particular time, a note at checkout lets us know and we will try.
