Back at Southbank every delivery is opened and inspected before it is accepted, and whatever falls short is rejected on the spot. The rest is cut, conditioned and set in freshly cleaned buckets, and it is usually designed and away inside a day. Your florist checks it again as your St Kilda arrangement comes together, and once more before it goes to the courier. What arrives is the design you ordered, with only the season moving.

The Water Comes Too
