Flower Delivery to St Kilda

St Kilda is close enough to Southbank that a delivery there is often the first one out the door. Acland Street, Fitzroy Street, Carlisle Street, the towers looking over the bay and the terraces behind them are all inside the regular run, and the hotels along the foreshore see us most weeks.

A lot of what goes to St Kilda is going to somebody staying rather than somebody living there. Hotel deliveries need a guest name and a check in date to land properly, so we ask for both, and our florist deals with the front desk rather than leaving an arrangement with whoever happens to be standing near it.

What St Kilda Gets Every Time

The Morning Selection

Kate Hill Flowers has been a market customer since July 2007. Turning up, paying and being straightforward to deal with buys something a new arrival cannot buy at any price. Our buyers are shown the good stems early, often before they reach the floor, and they will walk away from a whole run rather than take something that will be tired by Thursday.

Where the Design Happens

Back at Southbank every delivery is opened and inspected before it is accepted, and whatever falls short is rejected on the spot. The rest is cut, conditioned and set in freshly cleaned buckets, and it is usually designed and away inside a day. Your florist checks it again as your St Kilda arrangement comes together, and once more before it goes to the courier. What arrives is the design you ordered, with only the season moving.

The Water Comes Too

Nothing travels to St Kilda lying against a wet pack. Our signature bag holds a proper water vessel in its base, cradled so it cannot tip, and the stems stand in real water the entire way. The bag can be set down and left exactly as it arrives, which makes it easy in a hotel room, on a hospital ward or in an office with no vase in sight. Change the water daily and it keeps going. If it is not right, we replace it or refund it.

Celebrations, Sympathy and In Between

St Kilda runs on celebrations. Birthdays, engagements, opening nights and apologies, plus flowers waiting in a room before someone checks in. We also deliver to the hospitals and aged care homes across Port Phillip. Whatever the reason, our florists design the arrangement around it rather than around a catalogue.

Flower Delivery Around St Kilda

What St Kilda Customers Ask

Can flowers reach St Kilda today?

They can if you order before 1pm, six days a week. Orders after the 1pm cut off are delivered on the following delivery day.

What is the delivery charge to St Kilda?

Enter the St Kilda address at checkout and the fee is calculated there and then, so you see the full amount before you pay.

Will the flowers survive if they have to be left?

Yes. There is a water vessel built into our signature bag, so an arrangement left in the shade or handed to a neighbour holds up until it is collected. We always tell you where it went.

Do you deliver to hotels and apartment towers in St Kilda?

Regularly. For a hotel we need the guest name and the date they are staying. For an apartment we need the number and a mobile. Either way the bag keeps the flowers in water at the front desk until they are collected.

Can I choose the flowers myself?

You can choose the style and we will match it to the day. Our buyers pick it out at the market before dawn, so the exact stems change with the season. Sunflowers and dahlias in summer, hellebores and tulips in winter, roses right through, next to plants, wine and gifts.
