Flowers Delivered Across Collingwood

Smith Street, Wellington Street, Johnston Street and the converted warehouses in between are a short drive from Southbank, so Collingwood sits comfortably inside our same day window. Order in the morning and the flowers are usually there before the working day is finished.

Collingwood is largely a workplace delivery for us. Roller doors, unmarked entrances and buildings with four businesses inside them are the norm, so a company name and a mobile number on the order does more for a Collingwood delivery than a street number alone ever will.

Why Collingwood Trusts Us

Our Buyers Are Fussy

We have bought at the Melbourne market since July 2007. Dealing straight with the same growers means our buyers are shown things before they reach the floor, and it means they can afford to be difficult. Most mornings they leave more behind than they bring back.

Designed Around the Flowers We Have

Every delivery into the Southbank studio is opened and checked before anyone touches it, and what does not pass goes back. What does is conditioned in freshly cleaned buckets and generally designed within a day, two at the outside. It is checked as it is designed and again before it is handed over, and it follows the design you selected. Only what the season is doing changes.

Still Drinking on Arrival

Flowers for Collingwood go out standing in water, not lying in a wet pack. Our bag was designed around a water vessel that sits in its base and is held there the way a takeaway tray holds a coffee cup. That means it can be put down and left exactly as it came, which is the whole point in a hospital room or an office where nobody owns a vase. Change the water each day. If anything falls short, we replace it or refund it.

What Collingwood Marks With Flowers

Collingwood sends flowers for launches, farewells, thank yous and birthdays, and for sympathy when it is needed. Our florists work to the occasion rather than to a template, and the arrangement is made from roses, hydrangeas, peonies and whatever else came back from the morning buy in good condition.

Collingwood Delivery Questions

Is there a same day option for Collingwood?

There is, on orders placed before 1pm. We run Monday to Saturday, and orders after the 1pm cut off are delivered the next day we are out.

What does it cost to deliver to Collingwood?

Delivery is priced at checkout against the address you enter, so the Collingwood figure is on screen before payment.

The office might be closed. What then?

The water vessel built into our signature bag means flowers can be left with a neighbouring business or in a shaded spot without suffering for it. We confirm by message where they were left.

Can you find a warehouse or studio address?

Yes, and it goes better with a business name, a unit number and a mobile on the order. Our florist will call from the door if need be, and the bag keeps the flowers in water while that gets sorted.

Do I get to pick the stems?

You pick the style and we match it to the market. It is bought at the market that morning, so the exact stems shift with the season. Proteas, banksia, dahlias and roses all appear across the year, as do plants, wine and gifts.
