When I met with the creative team behind the launch of ‘The House of Vera’ I fell instantly in love with the brief.
Working with such an amazing creative team and distinct brief was so inspiring, and we were also grateful to be given the the creative freedom we needed. Projects like this definitely make the long hours of preparation, planning and physical hours so very rewarding.
The House of Vera event was set at Alto, GPO which was the perfect inner city venue. Harris Scarfe and Vera Wang transformed the venue into their own space, showcasing luxurious home wares, clothing, shoes, linen, divine smelling candles, and all things Vera Wang, as part of Melbourne Fashion Week.
As guests arrived they were met by a spectacular, 2.5m high, floral media wall, drenched with fresh, fragrant blooms. We created the custom built wall with over 200 bunches of hydrangeas, 70 bunches of fragrant hyacinths, 100 bunches of cottages roses, 200 orchids, 100 bunches of sweet smelling stock and 100 bunches of seasonal foliages. There was no ‘fluff’ in this design as we densely grouped in pastel purples, mauves, soft lilacs and rich plum hues to compliment the Vera Wang signature range.
Throughout the venue, pops of dense floral displays complimented product areas showcasing the Vera Wang range.
