Michael and Lesley's wedding day took place on a perfect November day with a ceremony held at St Peter's Church in Toorak, followed by a reception at The Hotel Windsor Ballroom.

I had the pleasure of first meeting with the beautiful couple in 2011 and they were an absolute delight to work with right from the start. Both Lesley and Michael shared a clear vision on what their dream day would look like. The brief was essentially a grand, classic, black tie event filled with beautiful florals.We sourced over 300 bunches of premium white Hydrangeas (from Sydney) and over 400 bunches of premium locally grown Peony Roses (from Romsey) for the event. We all felt like we were in flower heaven while working on this event.

The ceremony featured large focal floral displays and the aisle was drenched in dense flower pew domes.

The bridal bouquets were created with the Lesley's favourite blooms which included Peony Roses, Hydrangeas, Freesias and Lisianthus. We also styled a ring that belonged to Lesley's grandmother in her bouquet which was a beautifully sentimental touch.

The reception venue featured tall, 'old world', silver candelabras which we then drenched with white hydrangeas and white peony roses.
