Wedding Flowers Highlight | Tanya & Ryon

Wedding Flowers Highlight | Tanya & Ryon

We recently had the pleasure of working on a beautiful, bold, winter wedding at Eureka 89. Eureka 89 is a modern, boutique venue located on the 89th floor of the Eureka building located in Southbank and boasts some of the best views in Melbourne with amazing modern cuisine to match.

Tanya and Ryon's wedding style reflected their love of colour, their traditional values and customs, and they wanted to give their guests a truly memorable event experience. A lot of their guests had flown from interstate and overseas so Eureka 89 would set the foundations perfectly to provide their guests with a unique Melbourne experience.

Both the ceremony and reception were held at Eureka 89. We installed a beautiful custom designed hanging installation for the ceremony which was perfectly positioned above bride and groom to act as a hanging altar and focal point in the room. It was created out of individually wired, 4m long floral and foliage garlands which took days to prepare and were created out of hundreds of orchid bunches in mixed bold tones of hot pinks, reds, oranges and golds. The floral and foliage garlands also complimented Ryon's Indian heritage.

The ceremony setting also featured a thick scattering of fresh and fragrant roses petals in mixed bold tones and the couple each wore a floral garland as part of their traditional ceremony.

The reception also featured rich bold seasonal flowers in red, orange, hot pink, gold tones and lush textural foliages. We styled the reception venue with warm candlelight, floral hedges and more candlelight for good measure! Flowers throughout the wedding included double Ranunculus, Hellebores, Freesias, Tulips, Mokara Orchids, Cymbidium Orchids, Cottage Roses, and Magnolia, which were all the bride's favourite flowers.

Here are some photos from the day to enjoy courtesy of Martina Gemmola.
