Born into a family of designers, Kate has always had a passion for enhancing beauty in all its forms.

From a young age Kate's heart was set on becoming an interior designer. After high school she earned qualifications in interior design and started working on freelance projects. As her career in interior design was gaining momentum, Kate accepted a casual invitation from a friend who was looking for help in her florist. It was there that she discovered her love for floral design. 'Helping out' turned into a full time job of three years.

After completing a diploma in floral design, Kate left Adelaide to pursue her dream of working in Australia's design, fashion and culture capital, Melbourne. Kate quickly picked up work with Melbourne's top florists but realised that she needed to take a different direction to be free to develop her own style, particularly her passion for the discipline of contemporary design.

Working for a flower wholesaler allowed her the freedom to freelance afterhours and on weekends, and also helped her form relationships with Australia's best growers. Word quickly spread of Kate's talents and before long it was time to open a design studio from where she could take on large scale projects and attract the skills of Melbourne's best floral designers.

Leading fashion houses, corporations and hotels soon became clients and multiple awards in Australia's leading flower and garden show cemented Kate's reputation as a truly unique Melbourne talent.

Today, fourteen years since helping out in her friend's florist, Kate and her team continue to push the boundaries of floral design and styling. Their commitment to excellence ensures you nothing less than an absolute indulgence in quality and style.
